Starting their trip in Ho Chi Minh City we understand from the reports that the expedition has reached Tuy Hoa , about as far east as you can get on mainland Vietnam.

Pontus Göransson is the new House Holder!

We have a new Moonhouse Holder! A few days ago Pontus Göransson took custody of Moonhouse #2.4 The Göteborg when Fredrik Zeybrandt passed it on after completing a suite of expeditions. If we can draw any conclusions from the picture of Pontus so kindly provided by Fredrik, we might even expect a culinary expedition. ”Moonhouse in Food”, now that has not been done before.

Fair winds on your coming adventures Pontus! We look forward learning about your exciting expeditions in times to come.

Update: In the big commotion HQ failed to notice the house in the picture making this the first Moonhouse Expedition to food.

They say that if you aim for the stars you will reach the tree tops. You will of course reach the tree tops on your way to the stars. You will likely even be even be more comfortable hanging around the tree tops than you are on the ground. The above picture really proves this. Moonhouse #2.13 melds with the landscape of the Italian Alpes in colour, shape and presence when Lambrecht Wessels broughtit to Alagna Valsesia, Valle d’Aosta in Italy on Septemebr 17, 2013.

The higher, the better it seems. On the moon it will be glorious.

On October 2, 2013 the Moonhouse came a step closer to space when Emil Vinterhav and Moonhouse #2.24 explored ESTEC, the technology facility of ESA in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. It is seen in the picture above in front of the out door model of the bus size flagship satellite Envisat the the ESA/ESTEC exhibition and below in the rainbow hallway of ESTEC.

On September 1, 2013, Peter Wiklund brought house #2.26 to Riga

On September 1, 2013, Peter Wiklund brought house #2.26 to the freedom monument in Riga. This is the first expedition to the Baltic States and we are exited to learn that there is a red sister house in Latvia, albeit without the red corners. Check it out here.

Robin Lilja brought Moonhouse #2.19 to Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA on August 22, 2013. As sure as Old Faithful will have an eruption every 91 minutes we will see the Old house on the Moon one day.

From his ongoing expedition in the American Mid west Robin Lilja sends us these beautiful pictures. With the starkness and the desolation of the terrain and scenery in images, the Moonhouse is quite thorougly tested for artistic properties in Moon-like environments. When Robin sends us a picture of the house bright lit with a black sky in the background we will really know.
