Ich bin ein Hamburger! Ronald Reagan famously put it when he visited Berlin. Now the house can proudly say so too. Carl Nordlund brought house #2.9 to the University of Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany on May 26, 2013. Why the house is posing with the Sunbelt poster is unclear but maybe, and unknown to the author of this post, Hamburg is know as the Sunbelt in Germany.

In Literature – Moonhouse Celebrates ”Towel Day”

The Moonhouse in Literature celebrating ”Towel Day” in Celebration of Douglas Adams, the author of the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy of novels in four parts.
Today we celebrate Towel Day as a tribute to Douglas Adams, the author of best selling Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy in four parts (not forgetting the fifth installment). The trilogy has open the eyes of the world to importance of the number 42 and set it on the quest to finding the illusive ”question of life, the universe and everything” to which the number is the answer. He has tought us the the secrets of flying, the mechanics of interstellar space flight, the infinite improbability drive, the SEP-cloaking field, the pan-galactic gargle blaster, an apologise from god (We are sorry for the inconvenience), the heart of gold spaceship and many more ground breaking ideas.
Thank you Mr. Adams. The house #1.3 has its towel under firm control. Be ware of the leopard.

If you, like some of the Moonhouse Expedition Crew, only have a faint idea about what a Rosengart is, Wikipedia has articles about the cars and the man behind them beworth browsning.
Congratualtions Michael to your successful expedition. We look forward to hearing from your coming adventures.
Ett litet rött paket med vita knutar

House #2.21 at Sandgrund, Home stage of Sven-Ingvars in Karlstad on May 16, 2013 with Emil Vinterhav
For all of you fans of Sven-Ingvars, the most influential pop-culture to ever come out of Värmland (yes, the Expedition is biased), here we present Moonhouse #2.21 as Sandgrund, legendary home stage of Sven-Ingvars and and a place where the song ”Ett litet rött paket”, translating ”A small red present” in English. In honour of the band the house presents itself as ”Ett litet rött paket med vita knutar” and we entertain a distant hope that Sven-Ingvars will meet the expedition half way and perform the song for us with this encore…
Moonhytte in Oslo
The Expedition has reached the land of fjords, ”gå på tur” and ”hytter”. Our latest accomplished explorer, Jessica Interstein brought house #2.10 to Karl Johans gate in Oslo where if found the company of the royal castle (above) and the fountain Spikesuppe that literally means nail soup (below). Oslo is a far distance from where it last appeared in Toulouse and even farther from Pemba where it appeared before that.
Congratulations Jessica on your successful expedition. We wish you fair winds on your coming adventures and look forward to hearing from your coming expeditions.
House in Hanoi
ON the ongoing exploration of the world from a Moonhouse perspective Heike Schneider brought house #2.19 to Hanoi in Vietnam. As can be seen in the picture above the house was recieved well by the locals.
The below images shows the Moonhouse with the famouse Red Bridge of Hanoi. A red bridge would go well with the red house on the moon.
Thank you Heike for the beautiful images. In honour of the Vietnam Expedition, house #2.19 will henceforth be known as ”The Red Bridge”.
Congratulations on a successful expedition Heike! We wish you fair winds in your coming adventures and look forward to your of your expeditions should you wish to endavour on any.

On its ongoing expedition house #2.21 has explored Borås with Emil Vinterhav. When the house meets the grass on the lawn of Almenäs it generates a striking Green House Effect.

On May 12, Mike Morrison brought House #2.15 on a hiking expedition to Stony Mountain, where he shot some beautiful picutres of the ouse in the wild scenery. Yet again the house manages to improve on perfection. If you look carefully you will se the skyline of Atlanta on the horison of the second picture below.
