Moonhouse #2.4 in Nyborg. Nils von Matérn July 5,2013

These vibrant pictures by Nils von Matérn reached Expedition HQ yseterday. The pictures are from Nils’ expedition to Nyborg, Denmark. Nyborg lies att the bridge head of Stora Bältbron and was, until the bridge was built, an important Danih port. While transportation is still important it seems more pleasant to visit Nyborg for some R&R on the beach.

Daniel Ahlberg with family brings Moonhouse #2.23 along for a road trip adventure through California, USA. One of the first stops is Universial Studios in Hollywood. Any yes, we would like Universial to reboot Space 1999 as Space 2019 featuring the Moonhouse on location in a major part.

Nils Pokrupa brought house #2.2 on an expedition to Legoland on June 18. 2013. The short version of the expedition story is told in the above pictures where the house is documented on the way there first on the Öresund bridge, then in the Öresund Tunnel and finally at LEGOland in Billund, Denmark.

As a curiosity, the Öresund bridge also figured in an earlier expedition to Malmö.

We trust that the visit to Legoland was as enjoyable to the Pokrupa familty as can ever as good as can be hoped for. Congratulations to you all on your successful expedition and fair winds for your future adventures.

House #2.21 on river Klarälven in Karlstad, May 16, 2013 with Emil Vinterhav

On an expedition to Karlstad with Emil Vinterhav on May 16, 2013 the house claimed a beautiful piece of real estate on an island next to bridge ”Östra bron” in River Klarälven. The bridge, built 1761 – 1811 is the longest stone bridge in Sweden and is seen in the background in the above picture.
