#2.7 At Nam Phu, Vientiane, Muong Lao, Tim Vistarini, March 8, 2015
Seasoned Explorer Tim Vistarini has brought the Moonhouse #2.7 on an expedition to Vientiane. Nam Phou, is a popular hang out in Vientiane and were it not for the poor lighting conditions in the tropical night in Vientiane we are sure we would have seen the house at the concert that was undoubtedly held the same night as the picture above was taken.
Thank you for sharing this excellent expedition Tim. We hope you had many laughs in Vientiane and fair winds for your coming expeditions!
#2.16 Tokyo, Shinjuku Gyoen, Tina Holmstedt, April 24, 2015
Tina Holmqvist has been on a very exciting expedition to Tokyo where she and Moonhouse #2.16 have been exploring the legendary cherry blossom in the Shinjuku Gyoen garden. As we all can see the house blends well with the cherry blossom. One would wish that the house could bring a cherry tree to the Moon where the blossoms would be off-set wonderfully agains the black sky and crisp star field. This expedition is poetic to the level that we have to rename Moonhouse #2.16 to Cherry Blossom.
We thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures from your exciting expedition Tina. We wish you fair winds for your coming expeditions.
Moonhouse Marathon. #2.38 with Magnus Steen at Helsingborg Marathon running from Musikhjälpen in Helsingborg December 15, 2013
With light weight and slim constitution you may say that the Moonhouse is predisposed for running Marathons. Magnus Steen has gone on to test the hypothesis and found that this is indeed the case.
On December 15, Moonhouse #2.38 became a part of the great Marathon movement when it participated in the fundraising event Musikhjälpen where Helsingborg Marathon contributed by running 1 km per raised 100 SEK, (c:a 11€).
Congratulations Magnus to your successful expedition! We wish you fair winds for your coming adventures!
Moonhouse #2.38 before shipping to Magnus Steen and The Marathon
Today Moonhouse #2.38 was shipped to Magnus Steen in Helsingborg. Magnus will be running already tomorrow but the house will in all likelihood reach Helsingbord in good time for Mangnus’ last third of the run which he will be running on Thursday.

Congratulations Emil Vinterhav on your successful expedition and fair winds for your coming adventures.
Image 5904 was taken on July 4th. Mike Morrison, Gulf Shores, AL, USA. July 4, 2013
This report from the Independence Day Expedition reaches us from Mike Morrison in the USA:
Last week the Crimson Tide house accompanied me and my wife to Gulf Shores, AL to celebrate the 4th of July. For the US this date represents our independence from Great Britain. Normally we have huge fireworks displays along with plenty to eat and drink, however this year Mother Nature did not play along:) So no pictures with fireworks unfortunately.
Image 5907 was taken on a dock looking out over Bon Secour Bay on July 2nd, the crane in the background would not come into focus.
Image 5913 is of the house floating on a lily pad in the lagoon on July 3rd.
Image 5904 was taken on July 4th.
Images 5950, 5963, and 5964 were taken on July 3rd at Fort Morgan, possibly the southern most point of the state of Alabama. This fort has been used in many of our nation’s domestic conflicts (a polite way of saying many cannons were fired from this place 🙂
Image 5986 was taken on July 5th at a place called Lulu’s. She is the sister of singer Jimmy Buffett. No margaritas for the house but plenty of fried okra and pot roast quesadilla and beer, obviously.
Here at HQ we particularly appreciate the picture with the Moonhouse together with the United States Flag. It stimulates thoughts on a level words are incapable of. It is art. Moonhouse belongs everywhere, everywhen, to everyone and to none.
Congratulations Mike to your novel and successful expedition and the beautiful imagery and thank you for highlighting this valuable aspect. Fair winds on your coming adventures.

Emil Vinterhav brought Moonhouse #3.1 to the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget on June 19, 2013
Last week was the time for one of the biggest events in aviation, The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget. Le Bourget is the airport where Charles Lindbergh landed with his Spirit of Saint Louis after performing the first non-stop flight across the Atlantic. Most of the worlds aviation industry was represented at the event that also featured daily demonstration flights with the Airbus A380 and the Sukhoi SH-35, displays of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, air acrobatics and more.
House #3.1 was there too of course. In the above picture it is seen on the roof of Breitlings Bently.
Cissi Rikanovic brought Moonhouse #2.25 to the last function of the Croatian Embassy in Stockholm before Croatia became6 a member of the European Union.
Cicci Rikanovic brought Moonhouse #2.25 to wittness that last function at the Croatian Embassy in Stockholm before the country becomes a member of the European Union on July 1, 2013.
Cicci writes:
The Moonhouse has the honor to participate in the very last event on the Croatian Embassy in Stockholm before Croatia becomes the 28th EU Member State. [at the Croatian Embassy].
The picture is a little hazy. We understand that this was an emotional event where tears of nostaliga were shed.
We congratulate Cicci on her first completed expedition with House #2.25 and wish her fair winds on her coming adventures.
The Moonhouse in Literature celebrating ”Towel Day” in Celebration of Douglas Adams, the author of the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy of novels in four parts.
Today we celebrate Towel Day as a tribute to Douglas Adams, the author of best selling Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy in four parts (not forgetting the fifth installment). The trilogy has open the eyes of the world to importance of the number 42 and set it on the quest to finding the illusive ”question of life, the universe and everything” to which the number is the answer. He has tought us the the secrets of flying, the mechanics of interstellar space flight, the infinite improbability drive, the SEP-cloaking field, the pan-galactic gargle blaster, an apologise from god (We are sorry for the inconvenience), the heart of gold spaceship and many more ground breaking ideas.
Thank you Mr. Adams. The house #1.3 has its towel under firm control. Be ware of the leopard.
